David Seven presents "Dactylogram"

Join artist David Seven and Feral File communications lead Elisabeth Sweet as they discuss David's generative artwork series "Dactylogram" for the Truth exhibition on Feral File.

David Seven is a conceptual artist based in The Netherlands. Award-winning architect by day and algorithmic artist by night, David’s work explores both the duality of human nature and the social condition. His visual work, created in partnership with a computer, is a performative dance of randomization and curation, whereby the artist interacts in real-time with an autonomous generative system. Passionate about emerging technologies, his work retains a romantic outlook on the traditional approach to medium. His digital work often has a counterpart in the physical realm, where large-scale prints can connect with the observer and encourage moments of reflection through intricate details and articulated narrative on canvas.
