50 secondsIannis Bardakos’ “Diagrammatic Formaform V” emerges out of a multiplicity of digital and analog creations recombined and remixed with sounds and words as a looped moving image creation. The art piece unites these different types of forms into a new transmediated Form of Forms (hence Formaform) that functions as a poetic map allowing access to a second-order process. This map acts as a metaphysical bridge between a digital and a moist medium, remapping how thought and action become the vessel for observational reflectivity. “Diagrammatic Formaform V” paradoxically becomes a diagrammatic translation-motion of all possible and impossible cybernetic flows of information between an observer and the map itself.
