Bi Zhenyu, aka In_K has been using computer languages to create his artworks for the past 10 years. His works usually involve computer algorithms, programmatically generated visuals. AI algorithms are also being used in his new works. In 2011, In_K established visual group “Neuron” which has performed at underground parties, music festivals, and other events in different scales. In 2017, In_K formed a new media art group “DROWYEK.” The works are combined with diverse forms such as audiovisuals, interactive images, immersive installations, and more.
In_K pays a lot of attention to “technology.” He believes that technology is not only a creative tool but also an extension of our senses. Together with technology, he believes we are shaping and expanding the boundaries on both two sides. Through programming and real-time image generation, In_K is continuing his creations including audiovisuals, interactive & immersive installations, VR, MR, AI art, and more.
