Nora O’ Murchú is a curator, writer and researcher whose work examines how digital technologies, computational systems and contemporary image cultures shape politics, governance and collective life. From 2020–2024, she was Artistic Director of transmediale in Berlin. She is currently Associate Professor at the University of Limerick and, from January 2027, Professor and Head of the MA Digital Communication Environments at the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. Her current book project, Irish Cosmotechnics: Toward Collective Technologies, considers technology through questions of language, colonialism, infrastructure and collective forms of life.
