Anna Carreras is a Barcelona, Spain-based creative coder and digital artist whose work focuses on generative algorithms and interactive technology. In addition to working directly with code, Anna develops interactive installations to explore new emerging narratives with an emphasis on audience collaboration. She is interested in the complexity that emerges from small simple behaviors, and she aspires to capture the diversity and richness of complex systems in her works. Throughout the pandemic, she created daily code sketches, which she called “quarantena generativa,” to explore new ideas.
